Sub-accounts can be used for spot trading, margin trading, futures trading, and standard deposits. However, withdrawals are not permitted. To withdraw funds, you must transfer digital assets from your sub-account back to the main account and process the withdrawal there.
How to Transfer Digital Assets from Main Account to Sub-Account
Web Platform
Log in to your OKX main account.
- Option 1: Navigate to the sub-account page and click 【Fund Transfer】.
- Option 2: Go to 【Asset Management】 > 【My Assets】 > 【Fund Transfer】 > 【Sub-Account Transfer】.
Select the:
- Target sub-account.
- Cryptocurrency.
- Transfer direction (From Main Account → To Sub-Account).
- Enter the amount and confirm.

- Tap the sub-account transfer icon (top-right corner).
Choose:
- Transfer direction (From → To).
- Sub-account name.

Only main accounts can enable deposits for standard sub-accounts (via web platform).
