Before applying to become a Verified Merchant, please read this agreement thoroughly. Initiating the verification process constitutes your full understanding and acceptance of these terms. However, due to technical limitations, the Platform cannot guarantee absolute accuracy or authenticity of verified identities.
1. Acceptance and Modification of Terms
The C2C Verified Merchant Service Agreement is subsidiary to and forms an integral part of the OKX Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Verified Merchant Service, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. Key provisions:
- Conflicts between this agreement and the OKX Terms of Service shall be resolved in favor of this agreement, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- The Platform reserves the right to modify terms unilaterally. Continued use post-modification implies acceptance.
2. Required Verification Materials
Submit the following details:
- Full name
- Mobile number
- WhatsApp/Telegram account
- Nickname
- Emergency contact (name, number, relationship)
3. Processing Time
Verification typically completes within 3 natural days after submitting all required information.
4. Verification Cancellation
The Platform may revoke Verified Merchant status based on internal assessments. To request cancellation:
- Submit an application via OKX’s website.
- Pending disputes or security concerns may delay approval.
5. Terms of Service Approval
- Verified Merchant Service is an identity-verification feature.
- Post-verification, identity details cannot be modified unless legally changed (supporting documents required).
6. Data Retention & Usage
By applying, you consent to OKX’s Privacy Policy, including data processing for:
- Service provision
- Legal compliance (e.g., government requests)
- Dispute resolution
7. Third-Party Links
The Platform may redirect to third-party sites (e.g., online banking) for verification. OKX disclaims responsibility for external content or services.
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use the service for illegal purposes.
- Disrupt Platform operations or others’ access.
9. Additional Clauses
Compliance with Laws
All parties must adhere to applicable regulations.
Force Majeure
Delays caused by uncontrollable events (e.g., natural disasters) do not incur liability.
Indemnification
You agree to compensate OKX for losses arising from your breach of terms.
Liability Limitation
OKX is not liable for:
- Unauthorized account access
- Third-party actions
